The Directors and staff at HS Environmental (HSE) Ltd are committed to ensuring that our clients are fully conversant with UK Health & Safety legislation and that all clients provide a safe working environment for thier staff, and any other persons involved with thier business activities. Our cost effective Health & Safety solutions not only bring a safe working environment to the workplace, they also ensure resources are preserved and focused on the business rather than costly personal injury claims , possible fines, and increased insurance premiums, and ultimately bring to the company our goal of;


All organisations are effected by Health & Safety and Environmental regulations that impose duties, obligations and when necessary, penalties on companies. We aim to ensure that as such, these duties are met and fulfilled, ensuring any processes implemented are protecting the welfare of all employees and of truly added value to the organisation. We only use fully qualified Chartered Members of IOSH - CMIOSH to ensure that your can be fully confident in our abilities and this is also backed up with us being registered with the
Health & Safety Consultants Register.

Specialising also in Fire Risk Assessments, which became law following the introduction of the Regulatory Reform Order (Fire Safety) 2005. From October 2006 ALL premises employing 5 or more person are req'd to have a written Fire Risk Assessment outlining the significant findings of the assessment. Fire Certificates are no longer req'd, with the local Fire and Rescue Service taking on the role of auditors to ensure compliance.

Many fires are caused by electrical system failures, by using our state of the art electrical test and inspection regimes including Infra-Red Thermography, appliance testing and fixed wiring tests, you can ensure such risks are reduced to an aceptable level, ensuring you comply with the Electricity at Work Regulations.

Living in the present climate, many organisation seek, but many fail, to reduce the impact they have on the environment around them. Using environmental audits, inspection of waste streams, and energy surveys, we aim to reduce the impact organisation have on the local surroundings and to reduce the overall carbon footprint of the business.

Our Association with the British Safety Council

We are pleased to be associated with the British Safety Council of which we are full members. The British Safety Council is a membership organisation committed to providing services of the highest quality and value, whilst influencing and informing health and safety legislation, policy and debate. Their groundbreaking work with young workers is gaining widespread recognition and support among their members, partners and the media.

With up to 10,000 members and subscribers in around 50 countries, they provide up-to-date and accurate information and guidance on health, safety and environmental issues.

They are the only UK awarding body to offer a complete suite of accredited health and safety qualifications, from entry level to Level 6 in the National Qualifications Framework, and we continue to be a leading provider of health and safety courses and qualifications both in the UK and internationally.

Fire Risk Assessments

With the introduction of new legislation all premises require a fire risk assessment so that the significant findings of the assessment can be identified. We are able to offer a full service that allows clients to comply with the law and ensure employees are protected from the risk of fire and can escape safely from effected buidlings.
